On Jan. 8th, Korea Ladies’ Professional Golf Association, a.k.a. KLPGA had its signing ceremony of “KLPGA FXRENT Invitational” at the association office.
The championship hosted by FXRENT that has first associated with KLPGA, proudly presents its biggest size ever in champion’s tour history so far, with 200 million KRW as its prize money. Also, this championship is to be held as the “premier invitational championship” inviting players from overseas such as Japan, which is expected to draw huge attention.
Not only hosting this championship, FXRENT also had founded Senior Golf Team sponsoring the team leader Koo, Min-ji (47), Lee, Oh-soon (57), Lee, Sun-hee 2 (48) etc., contributing to the development in champion’s tour.
Cho, Jung-sik the president of INGO-WGCA 72 FXRENT HQ. said: “this championship has been long planned for senior players who have been relatively isolated from abundance of sponsors” and that “we will continuously sponsor players who had moment in time to be able to keep playing in stable circumstances even when they are older.”
